More Halloween Crafts!

As I have mentioned time and time again I am in love with The Wood Connection!

Today I would like to show off some of my wooden Halloween Decorations from The Wood Connection. I still have a few more projects, but I just haven't had time to finish them.

Let's get on with the show...

Up first we have my set of 3 bats to go along with my glass word frame.

Next I have these cute little danglers!

Then I have my witch's boot!

Last, but not my least favorite by far is my word WITCH!

I am loving Halloween this year, I just wish I could get all the projects done that are on my list.
I hope everyone else is enjoying this time of year as much as I am.

Halloween Crafts!

I finally had some time to made a few Halloween crafts and I couldn't wait to post them all, instead of one at a time. So here we go.
I featured this cute idea from A Pumpkin and a Princess on Hoo's got talent last week and I had to make one my self. I added a 5 cent sign to mine.

I ordered kits for my friends and I to make Count Down to Candy blocks. These came from How Does She. I love how they turned out!

I also changed my 4 letter frame to BATS for the month of October.
Sorry this isn't the best picture!

I can't wait to finish up all my Halloween crafts! Too bad I have to work!

I am participating in the parties on my sidebar and the new Halloween party at eighteen 25!

Watermelon madness!

I have gone crazy over WATERMELONS!
This month is National Watermelon month and I am loving it!
I don't know why my house has to have a theme each month, but it does! I have gone crazy for WATERMELONS! So, today I would love to share with you my WATERMELON decorations!

I have 10 blocks that I set out each month, so of course this month says...

I have my group of 3 standing Watermelons!

I used the word SEED in my glass frame that gets changed monthly!

Sitting with my glass frame are two slices of watermelon!

I couldn't leave out my candle stand! I switched out my candles and added my watermelon ribbon!

I got my candles from IKEA, the ribbon from Wal Mart, the glass frame from Family Dollar, and all the wood from The Wood Connection!

The best part is I still have more cute WATERMELON crafts to post about!
Stay tuned later in the week to see the rest!

I hope you have a DELICIOUS day!

Mr. Postman Help!

I don't know about anyone else, but it seems like I always have a pile of mail laying around my house! I can't stand it, so I found me a holder for the miserable pile! I found my holder at THE WOOD CONNECTION and the cute little metal plaque to go on it. All I had to do was spray paint the holder and screw on the plaque. Here is the finished product!

I am so excited to put this baby to use!

How Does Your Garden Grow #2

I keep forgetting to post about my door hanger for the month of May! Better late then never right? I really like the saying,
"How does your garden grow?"
I think it is perfect for this time of year, even though it is still too could for my garden to grow! (I don't even have it planted yet)

Here it is up closer!

What a treat when I walk in my door!

Ribbon Bow Holder!

I have wanted to make my daughter a bow holder for all her adorable bows. She has so many of them and I just had them thrown into a basket. The basket started to over flow and I was tired of digging through the basket to find the bows I was looking for. I was constantly picking up bows that I had thrown onto the floor while I looked for the right ones. So this is what I created!

It was so simple. I took a 12x12 frame and painted it purple. Then I took different colors of ribbon and stapled them to the back. I then hung it up in my daughter's room and added her bows! It was that easy. I love how it turned out!

FYI~ I got my frame from The Wood Connection and my ribbon from JoAnn's!

May Danglers

I finished my monthly welcome danglers over a week ago and I am barely posting about them. I have so much fun painting and embellishing them. This is my favorite set so far.

Here is a closer picture!

These cute danglers cheer me up every time I walk through my front door!

On to today's post, for all of you that have been following my blog over the last couple of months, you know that I am in love with the Wood Connection in Utah. I am so jealous of those ladies that live close by and can just run over there anytime to pick up cute pre-cut wood figurines.  My mom stopped by there a couple of weeks ago and bought me home a watering can! She also brought one home for Sady, so we could paint them together.  So on Friday night we worked on our danglers and our watering cans. I will post my danglers after I re-do my welcome board.  I do have a picture of my watering can, so here it is!

Don't you think it is loud? This totally fits my personality and I get all excited to see it every time I pull up to my house. Now I just need the weather to cooperate so I can plant my flowers. I woke up to snow this morning!

Kid's Picnic Table!

I have fallen in LOVE with Ana's projects over at Knock Off Wood! Who doesn't love her brilliant plans and masterpieces that she has created? I know I do! There are so many projects that I want to do, but I have a dilemma. I need to learn how to use a saw. My husband is worried that I will cut my fingers or hand off. Well you can't tell me that I can't do something, so my goal is by the end of the summer to have several wish list projects completed by myself! So I just sat back and let him complete our first project using Ana's plan!

I know this isn't the best picture, because I was racing with daylight to get it taken! You get the picture!
My kids are having so much fun playing with it and eating on it along with all their friends!  Thanks Ana for all your plans and time, so that I don't have to spend a fortune on the furniture that I adore!

Ric Rac Eggs!

I decide that I better get busy on my Easter crafts. I had three wooden easter eggs that I can't remember where I bought them from!

Anyway, I decided to paint them with Behr paint.  I love to go to Home Depot and get the sample paints for $3. They last a long time and it doesn't take too many coats of paint! I used a light pink, light yellow, and light purple! Then I cut a piece of scrapbbook paper 3in to fit across the center egg!  Next I added ribbon and ric rac to the other two eggs! I then proceeded to spray them with opal glitter that costs $4 at Wal Mart.  To finish them up I added colored wire that I had left over from Valentine's and St. Patrick's crafts. I love how they turned out.
