I was looking around online for ideas for my daughter's first birthday party! I have decided the theme will be cupcakes and polka dots, anyway I came across the cutest cupcake pillow case dresses. I looked around online to find out how to make them. After school I went straight to the quilt store to find some facbric to make one. It only took 1/2 yd of fabric and 1 1/4 yard of ric rac and some ribbon, or you can use a pillowcase! I think that it turned out so cute for my first attempt. I will be making several more of them and I will post a tutorial of how to make them. They are the easiest thing to make. I have never made a dress before, so I am so excited! Here is the cute little polka dot pillow case dress! I can't wait to let her wear it!

I am glad to hear that it was easy to make because I am a beginner at sewing!
