Mr. Postman Help!

I don't know about anyone else, but it seems like I always have a pile of mail laying around my house! I can't stand it, so I found me a holder for the miserable pile! I found my holder at THE WOOD CONNECTION and the cute little metal plaque to go on it. All I had to do was spray paint the holder and screw on the plaque. Here is the finished product!

I am so excited to put this baby to use!

June Welcome Danglers!

I am a little late getting these up, but better late than never right?
I have several June decorations that I just finished or need to finish. I feel like my summer break is flying by so fast and I can't get everything accomplished that I want to each day!
Anyway, enough of the complaining, here are my
June Welcome Danglers!

Don't these just scream SUMMERTIME?
The flip flops are my favorite part!

Tiered Terracotta Planter!

When I first saw Amy from Positively Splendid's post on Tiered Terracotta Planters I was amazed!

I went straight to my local hardware store to pick up the supplies! I would have went to Home Depot, but like I said before that is a 70 mile drive for me! I really wanted the same colors that Amy used, but I couldn't find the blue. I settled for orange and I am so glad how it turned out.

The sad part to this story is that I made a set for me and a set for my mom the week before Mother's Day and I just now got flowers planted in mine! It is so nice to have some color on my front porch!

May Danglers

I finished my monthly welcome danglers over a week ago and I am barely posting about them. I have so much fun painting and embellishing them. This is my favorite set so far.

Here is a closer picture!

These cute danglers cheer me up every time I walk through my front door!

On to today's post, for all of you that have been following my blog over the last couple of months, you know that I am in love with the Wood Connection in Utah. I am so jealous of those ladies that live close by and can just run over there anytime to pick up cute pre-cut wood figurines.  My mom stopped by there a couple of weeks ago and bought me home a watering can! She also brought one home for Sady, so we could paint them together.  So on Friday night we worked on our danglers and our watering cans. I will post my danglers after I re-do my welcome board.  I do have a picture of my watering can, so here it is!

Don't you think it is loud? This totally fits my personality and I get all excited to see it every time I pull up to my house. Now I just need the weather to cooperate so I can plant my flowers. I woke up to snow this morning!

Ladybug! Ladybug! Fly Away Home!

I am so sick of the weather we are having in Northern Nevada. It is changing like crazy and  I am afraid to plant my flowers. I don't want them to freeze or fly away with the nasty wind storms that keep occurring. So, while I am waiting for the weather to make up it's mind I made something cute to go in my flower beds.

I am a sucker for ladybugs! I made 7 of these adorable bugs out yard pavers. They were very simple and add so much character to my flower bed. I got the idea from my crafting partner in crime, SADY! For Christmas she gave me pictures of projects that we are making each month. She didn't have a picture of a ladybug paver, but she had a skunk and snowman. So my little brain started thinking and I decided on the lad bugs. I am also planning on making a pumpkin patch for the fall time to hand out in my flower bed. Oh the endless possibilities these pavers have!

I am linking to the cute blogs...
