Easter crafts!

I haven't had time to post the end of my Easter crafts! I have seen pictures with egg nests all over the blogs, so I had to wait until I got out of town to get some moss to make one! It was so simple and it took no time at all to whip it up.

I paInted my wooden egg sign and glittered it up! I then put it in my cute tin tray with homemade grass that I shredded up and my colored twine eggs!

I also bought a frame for $4 and painted it a light blue! I then made an egg out of material and a ruffle edge around it! I am not too sure about it, but I still put it out. I found this idea on Make It and Love It!

I also made both my kids a shirt to wear for Easter, since we weren't going to attend church and didn't have to wear church clothes. I didn't get a picture of my daughter's shirt before she got it all dirty, so when it is clean I will post a picture. I did get a picture of my son and his chick magnet shirt. I also saw this idea on a blog called So Can Do! It is a cute blog that you should check out!  Here is my handsome boy wearing his shirt!

My last project was my Easter time blocks!

I still didn't get my Easter table runner done, so hopefully I can finish it this week so that I can have it for next year!  I hope everyone had a great Easter, I sure did and I ate way TOO much!

Chocolate Bunny!

First things first, I was featured on It's a Hodgepodge Life today! Whoo Hoo am I excited! I have been featured 3 times in the last week. On am on a blog high right now that has me all excited about creating more cute crafts.  Anyway on to my post for today.
Yesterday was like Christmas for me! I received my Cricut Expression in the mail yesterday! I ordered it last week from craft-e-corner. They are having a great sale on Cricuts until tomorrow! I got it and the design calendar for a little over $200. If you sign up on their website you get a 10% discount off of your purchase and free shipping! Anyway I couldn't wait to use it, so I went straight to work. This was my creation that took 10 minutes!

So what do you think of my chocolate bunny? I ♥ it! I wanted to put it onto a wooden plaque, but I didn't want to paint until I could make one or buy one, so I settled for a tile. My favorite part is the bite out of the ear! So I said that when I reach 50 followers that I would do a giveaway and I am almost there, so check back for a giveaway coming up soon!

Eggs!

I found my next project off of someone's blog back in January, but I can't find it now.  I bought these cute glass frames at the Family Dollar.  Each month I change them out with a four letter word! They are simple and cheap. The frames were $3 and then I just cut paper 3 x 2 and added vinyl letters.  I have several people that I make these for each month. Here is what I have used so far...

Easter Topiary

I finished this topiary this last week and I just haven't taken the time to post it yet! So here is my dollar tree topiary. This was so quick and easy. Here is a picture of my supplies minus the wooden dool, ribbon, and circle styrofoam.

I first took the eggs off of the sticks and stuck them into the circle styrofoam. Then I hot glued moss to cover up the styrofoam. I then put the square piece of styrofoam into the container (which I painted blue).  I covered my dowel with ribbon and hot glued each end.  I then the dowel into both pieces of styrofoam and added moss around the bottom. I get excited every time I walk my it, because it is so colorful and cheery!
Here is how it turned out!

Fabric Carrots!

I am so excited about this next project! I am all about the carrots this year for Easter!  I found the cutest idea on how to make them from Sassy Style.  I used their tutorial to make my set!

This project seriously only took less than an hour! I didn't have any of the green stuff that they put at the top of theirs, so I used my colored green wire! I then decide to put them in a glass vase with moss on the bottom.

I then decided that I couldn't have carrots without a rabbit, so I put one by them!

I think Easter just became my new favorite holiday!
