More Valentine decor!

Where has the month gone? I can't believe February starts tomorrow!

I wanted to show a couple of Valentine decorations that I made last year.

Starting with my word LOVE!

My mom went to The Wood connection last week, so hopefully I can get all my projects done to show off this week! They have some cute stuff this year!

New Blog Makeover!

I am so excited right now!

What do you think of my new blog makeover?

I am in love with it! I have been debating on this for awhile now.

I didn't know if I wanted to spend the money on having someone designing my 

blog or not. I don't know why I waited so long!

I have to give a big shout out to Kassie over at Designs By Kassie!

She has been fabulous to work with. I am definitely not an easy person to please.

So after tons of emails it is complete and I have a huge smile on my face!

1. Do you wear glasses or contacts, if so for how long?
I do not wear glasses or contacts!
2. What was your favorite board game as a kid?
I loved candy land and any card game.
3. What is a word that you use all the time?
freakin' I don't like the word, but I say it quite a bit!
4. What is your favorite day of the week?
I love Saturdays! It is my day to sleep in!
5. Did you graduate high school from the town you grew up in?I moved to the town I grew up in when I was in 2nd grade and I continued
all the way until I graduated.

So back in December I decided to become a demonstrator for Makia!

What is Makia?

This is a great way for your friends and you to get together and create cute craft projects.

The founder of Makia are Alison and Missy from How Does She?

They have made it so easy to put a project together.

Each kit comes individually packed with all the supplies you need to create your project.

Here is the latest craft that my group completed!

Here are my answers!


1. Do you use an alarm clock or some device to wake you up, or do you wake up on your own?
I have to use an alarm clock for work or if I have to get up early to be somewhere!
2. If you could go on any game show, which won would you choose?
This is a hard one, because I love game shows. I think I would have to go with Deal or No Deal, because you don't have to use your brain it just depends on luck!
3. Do you prefer the weather to be hot or cold?
I love warm weather! I dread the cold winter!
4.What color of clothing do you wear the most?
I tend to wear brown a lot!
5. What is your favorite color? 
 My favorite color is brown, so maybe that has something to do with the color I wear a lot!

Frosty the Snowman and Mittens!

I keep forgetting to show off my latest two projects!

I made this cute mitten board from supplies that my mom and I had on hand.

I still need to drill a couple of holes in it so I can hang it from ribbon, but you get the idea.

I have been ordering wood craft projects from Wendy over at Craft Goodies!

She has a really cute Etsy shop that has the cutest kits available and they are so reasonable.

I am in love with my Frosty set that I got from her.

I just got a Valentine's kit from her that I will show as soon as I finish it!

I know I have been the biggest slacker for a month now.
Hopefully things will get back to normal soon.

1. Are you fond of cooking? 

I don't really like to cook. To be honest my husband cooks more than me!

2. What kind of food do you prefer eating when you are out? 

I love italian and a good steak! I have several favorite places to eat out,

but I only get the privilege to eat at them when I go to a bigger town or city!  3. Which do you prefer, sweet or salty?
SWEET! I am a sweet kind of girl. I never add salt to my food!

4. Where is the last place you ate out at?
This is a good one, it has been so long that I think it was the Outback or if we are talking about fast food it was McDonalds (not my favorite but it's all we have in my small town)

5. What's for dinner tonight?
I have bunco tonight and we are having Indian tacos! Yum!
